Job Description



This Position is Contingent on Contract Award. 

This position is in support of a proposed repatriation initiative. The purpose of the facilities is to provide comprehensive care for migrant individuals who are awaiting reunification or repatriation. This care will begin as soon as each occupant arrives at the facility and will last until their arranged departure. The comprehensive care includes but is not limited to initial screening and exams, identifications of prior conditions and allergies, day to day care of routine, urgent and emergency medical conditions.

International SOS is looking for an experienced Dentist to diagnose and treat oral health issues, perform dental procedures, and educate patients on maintaining proper oral hygiene. They play a vital role in ensuring the overall health and well-being of the patients' teeth and gums.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough examinations of patients' teeth, gums, and oral tissues to diagnose issues and develop treatment plans. 
  • Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and crown placements. 
  • Provide preventive dental care, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants to protect teeth from decay. 
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental checkups. 
  • Diagnose oral diseases, conditions, any abnormalities, and create treatment plans to address them. 
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes. 
  • Provide emergency dental care to address acute oral health issues. 
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. 
  • Ensure all dental instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and maintained according to safety protocols. 
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in dental technology and practices through continuing education and professional development.

Qualifications



Basic Requirements/Certifications:   

  • Current, full, an unrestricted license to practice dentistry in a State, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States. 
  • Successful completion of the National Board of Dental Examinations (NBDE) developed and administered by the Joint Commission a National Dental Examinations (JCNDE). 
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. 

Education Required: 

  • Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from a school approved by the American Dental Association (ADA) or the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) or an accrediting body recognized by the US Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained. 

Physical Requirements: 

  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment. 
  • Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time. 
  • May require bending, stooping and lifting up to 15 lbs.

  • Must be a US Citizen or possess a permanent resident card. 
  • Current MRPT Clearance preferred.

Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.

Compensation Min: $150,000 Max: $260,000

Benefits – Full-time positions are eligible for our comprehensive and competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance.
