Precision Planting is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Precision Planting Technician. This position encompasses a wide range of responsibilities including working in the shop, testing software issues, and operating machinery to test issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for precision agriculture.

Your Impact

• Machine Maintenance
  • Perform assembly, maintenance, and repair tasks on Precision Planting equipment.
  • Conduct diagnostic tests to identify issues and implement appropriate solutions.
• Testing Software Issues
  • Test software issues on Precision Planting equipment locally.
  • Utilize troubleshooting techniques to diagnose software-related problems and document findings.
  • Provide timely feedback to the development team regarding software performance and potential improvements.
• Operation of Machinery for Issue Testing
  • Operate machinery to simulate field conditions and test software issues.
  • Monitor equipment performance and collect data to identify and replicate issues.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to develop testing protocols and ensure accurate results.

Your Experience and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in mechanical assembly, maintenance, and repair, preferably in an agricultural setting.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues and familiarity with diagnostic tools.
• Ability to operate machinery safely and effectively.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
