Job Title: Accountant
Job type: Part-time required with full time preferred
Location: Remote (work from home)
Salary: $100 per month (Rs. 8,000) probationary period. $100-$120 (Rs. 8,000-10,000) per month after that depending on performance and experience
Timings: 10 AM - 7 PM EST (Monday to Saturday)
We are a US based **start-up**, looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented and experienced accountant to manage our financial record, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and a commitment to accuracy.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Maintain and manage financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
* Conduct bank reconciliations and manage cash flow.
* Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
* Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
* Provide support during audits and help prepare necessary documentation.
* Collaborate with other team members to improve accounting processes.
* Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role.
* Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
