Be the expert who turns ideas into printed reality. An advanced Additive Manufacturing Center is seeking an AM?Applications Engineer to join its cutting-edge 3D printing team. This role blends project leadership, process optimization, and hands-on design to support clients and internal teams in unlocking the full potential of additive manufacturing.
What you’ll do
Inspire and advise. Partner with sales teams and clients to demonstrate 3D printing capabilities, recommend materials, and optimize CAD models for manufacturability.
Engineer better processes. Develop and refine print parameters to boost quality, cut costs, and streamline production across multiple printing sites.
Own the lab. Manage daily operations of 3D printers and scanners, ensure uptime, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Lead projects. Coordinate cross-functional teams from concept through production, covering planning, QA, and documentation.
Push the frontier. Research emerging materials and techniques to stay ahead of industry innovation.
Champion quality. Perform testing and quality checks to ensure components meet or exceed client standards.
What you bring
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or related field (preferred)
3–5?years’ experience in additive manufacturing or related 3D-printing fields
Strong operational and technical knowledge of AM equipment, scanners, and materials
Proficiency in 3D CAD software and a working knowledge of various 3D printing technologies
Project management and communication skills to work cross-functionally with internal teams and clients
Passion for innovation and staying current with additive manufacturing trends
