Join our dynamic team as an art instructor for this upcoming high season at Wine and Design RVA! We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual with a passion for art and teaching to lead engaging paint and sip experiences in Richmond, VA., for the 2025/2026 season. As a PART TIME Art Instructor, you will inspire and guide participants of all skill levels through the creation of their own masterpieces while fostering a fun and relaxed atmosphere. MUST HAVE EVENING AND WEEKEND AVAILIBILTY!

Responsibilities

1. Lead paint and sip (and DIY) experiences by providing step-by-step instructions on the day's featured experience.
2. Demonstrate painting techniques and guide participants throughout the class.
3. Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all participants, encouraging creativity and self-expression.
4. Set up and organize painting materials and supplies before each class.
5. Assist with event setup and cleanup.
6. Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, answering questions and assisting as needed.
7. Promote upcoming classes and special events to guests and your community.
8. Uphold the quality and standards of Wine and Design by delivering exceptional customer service and instruction.

Qualifications

1. Strong painting skills and proficiency in various painting techniques.
2. Previous experience teaching art classes or workshops is preferred
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
5. Friendly and outgoing personality with a passion for art and teaching.
6. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
7. Must be at least 21 years old.
8. Ability to work well with a team!
9. Must be available evenings and weekends, Wed-Sunday!
10. Trustworthiness is a must!
