Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Oldsmar, FL . Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

• Use a microscope to verify correct part placement and orientation, manually align parts before soldering, and perform post-re-flow inspection and touch-up.
• Identify and touch up poor wetted solder joints, solder voids / insufficient solder, solder shorts/ bridges, misaligned parts/leads, tombstone or billboarded components, and any other solder defects that may occur during the SMT operation.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 /hr.

Hours: 4/10-1 st Shift.

Length: Temp (12 Months).

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in rework equipment such as hot air pencils, hot plates, and BGA removal (ERSA or other OEM).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in reviewing boards under X-ray to identify solder defects on bottom-terminated components.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in soldering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Computer operating, Blueprint Reading, and Surface Mount Technology. 
• Minimum 6 years of experience in IPC-A-610, IPC-J-STD.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

• Familiar with using Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) equipment to aid in identifying solder defects and understanding what false calls are vs. real calls or issues
• Able to read instructions and identify standard SMT components.
• Experience running, soldering, and tacking down jumper wires on re-design boards is a plus
• IPC-610 Certification.
• IPC J-STD-001 Certification.
• Able to read/write English.
