Job Description

Job Title: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a talented and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The BCBA will play a key role in conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and overseeing the implementation of behavior intervention programs for clients across various settings, including homes, schools, and community-based programs.

Responsibilities:

* Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and other relevant assessments to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviors.
* Develop comprehensive behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on assessment findings and principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA).
* Provide ongoing supervision and training to behavior technicians and other staff members involved in implementing behavior intervention programs.
* Collaborate with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to set goals and monitor progress towards target behaviors.
* Utilize data collection methods to track client progress and make data-driven decisions regarding treatment modifications.
* Conduct caregiver training sessions to teach families and caregivers strategies for supporting skill development and behavior management.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
* Stay current with the latest research and best practices in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA) and autism treatment.

Qualifications:

* Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
* Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
* Minimum of 1 year of experience providing ABA services to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
* Proficient knowledge of behavior assessment and intervention strategies, including functional analysis and positive behavior support.
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with clients, families, and team members.
* Experience supervising and training behavior technicians and other direct care staff.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
* Commitment to upholding ethical standards and promoting the welfare of clients and their families.
