Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Mercer Island, Washington. This Contract to permanent employment position offers the opportunity to manage key financial processes while contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in payroll, accounts payable, and bookkeeping, as well as proficiency in QuickBooks. Responsibilities: - Process accounts payable transactions promptly and accurately. - Assist with payroll administration, ensuring timely and accurate processing. - Handle administrative tasks such as healthcare enrollments and other employee-related documentation. - Manage month-end closing activities, including reconciliations and reporting. - Collaborate with auditors to support financial audits for multiple properties. - Support accounts receivable processes, ensuring collections are properly documented. - Utilize QuickBooks and rent roll software to maintain accurate financial records. - Maintain detailed and organized financial documentation for compliance and reporting purposes. - Ensure bank reconciliations are completed efficiently and accurately. Requirements - Proven experience in payroll and accounts payable processes. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Proficiency in QuickBooks and financial management software. - Familiarity with rent roll programs is a plus. - Ability to handle month-end closing and reconciliation tasks. - Experience working with auditors or supporting financial audits. - Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices. - Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
