Business Developer, Landscape Construction and Enhancements

Location:
Brunswick, GA is preferred but Savannah or North FL can also work.

Compensation: $60k plus Commissions of 2%, paid monthly.

Description:
Our client is an $16 million landscape company servicing three markets in the SE part of Georgia and North Florida.  Due to continued growth, they plan to hire a Business Developer to meet with clients, define and discuss enhancement opportunities, create proposals, create designs and close contracts for new projects.

This person must be a go getter with a hunter type of attitude, have the ability to identify opportunities and make connections with decision makers by offering them these enhancement and construction services.

It will be important that they have sold these services before, understand construction, have the ability to create comprehensive estimates and have knowledge of plant and tree materials along with other materials that are used for these projects.

Projects can range from $1500 to $150,000 with the average project at the $15,000 level.  Projects can include landscape upgrades or renovations, drainage improvements, sod, grading and other items to improve a customers property.

The goal is to achieve a minimal of $800k in sales but we see it being well over $1mm to close to $2mm considering the strengths of the markets.
The gross margins is targeted at 55-56%.

The company uses Aspire Software to estimate and Proscapes to design and their clients consist of Distribution Centers, Churches, Shopping Centers, Apartment Complexes, Resorts, HOA’s and other commercial clients.
