Known for delivering high-quality work across commercial and residential projects throughout NYC, the firm is looking to expand its market presence and client base.
Position Overview
We're looking for a results-driven, relationship-focused Business Development & Sales professional with proven experience in the NYC construction sector. The ideal candidate will bring a solid book of business and strong industry relationships to help grow our footprint with leading general contractors and developers.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities with general contractors, developers, and construction managers in NYC.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow revenue and client base.
Maintain and strengthen relationships with project managers, procurement teams, and key decision-makers.
Attend networking events, industry meetups, and trade shows to promote the company's services.
Conduct market research to identify trends, pipeline opportunities, and potential risks.
Prepare proposals, pricing, and bid submissions with a focus on value and competitiveness.
Coordinate closely with internal teams to ensure feasibility and alignment on pricing and project scope.
Maintain a detailed pipeline of prospects and report regularly on activity and outcomes.
Qualifications & Skills
Demonstrated success in sales or business development roles within the construction industry-ideally in drywall, framing, or subcontracting.
Strong network within NYC's construction market is highly desirable.
Skilled negotiator with the ability to close high-value contracts.
Familiarity with NYC's bidding processes and industry regulations.
Self-starter with excellent organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency with CRM systems, Excel, and presentation tools preferred.
