Claiborne Senior Livinghas an immediate opening for a Certified Medication Aide and is offering competitive pay with a $2.00 per hour increase opportunity over the first year of employment. Certified Medication Aide Duties:

• Assists residents with daily medications, treatments and care as assigned and within the scope of practice, policy and procedures and state regulations.
• Coordinates medication services with resident, pharmacy and physician.
• Provides resident comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting residents; answering resident’s all lights and requests; reporting observations of the resident to supervisor.
• Assists Life Enrichment staff in carrying out planned activities.
• Performs other duties consistent with position as assigned

Certified Medication Aide Qualifications:

• CPR/First Aid certified, preferred
• Complete an accredited Certified Medication Aide course
• Valid State Specific CMA/CMT license
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year prior experience
