Job Title: Clinical Research Nurse (RN)
Location: Largo, FL
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM
Overview Join a respected and patient-centered research organization as a
Clinical Research Nurse (RN) supporting surgical and clinical research protocols. In this role, you'll work closely with physicians, research coordinators, and patients throughout the surgical process - from preoperative preparation to post-treatment follow-up.
Key Responsibilities - Coordinate and manage all aspects of assigned clinical research protocols, from feasibility to closeout.
- Perform and document patient assessments, treatments, and study-related procedures per protocol.
- Prepare, verify, and document study medication orders and ensure provider approval before administration.
- Serve as the primary liaison among physicians, research staff, sponsors, and internal departments.
- Maintain accurate study documentation, including data entry, regulatory forms, and follow-up records.
- Monitor, report, and resolve protocol deviations, adverse events, and data queries promptly.
- Educate and support clinical staff on research procedures and patient care standards.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in good standing.
- Minimum 2-3 years of nursing experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Experience providing direct patient care .
