We are looking for a Dashboard Developer with strong business intelligence and data modeling skills to design and deliver executive dashboards that provide actionable insights for HR data. This role involves conceptualizing backend requirements, modeling data for BI purposes, and building dashboards using leading visualization tools. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in SQL and experience with Tableau or Power BI.
Key Responsibilities
- Discovery & Collaboration
o Engage with stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into technical requirements.
o Work closely with HR and data teams to align dashboards with organizational goals.
o Strong collaboration skills to work with stakeholders and translate requirements into actionable designs.
- Dashboard Development
o Conceptualize and design dashboards based on business needs and wireframes.
o Build and roll out dashboards end-to-end, ensuring usability and scalability.
o Develop executive-level dashboards (e.g., 3-screen views) to showcase HR and talent acquisition metrics.
- Data Modeling & Backend
o Model data for BI purposes to support dashboard functionality.
o Define backend requirements and ensure data integrity for reporting.
o Work with SQL as the foundation for data extraction and transformation.
- Tools & Technologies
o Develop dashboards using Tableau and Power BI.
o Utilize Dataiku for advanced data preparation and analytics.
- Testing & Quality Assurance
o Create and execute test scripts to validate dashboard functionality.
o Ensure dashboards are accurate, up-to-date, and meet stakeholder requirements.

Skills and Requirements
Location: Remote - preferably in Pune, Mumbai, or Bangalore, India
o 4+ years of experience in business intelligence development or dashboard design.
o 3+ years of hands-on experience with Tableau and/or Power BI, including dashboard creation and deployment.
o Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and transformation.
o Proven ability to conceptualize dashboards, translate business needs into technical requirements, and deliver end-to-end solutions.
o Experience in data modeling for BI purposes to support accurate and
o Ability to manage dashboard development lifecycle from wireframe to rollout, including testing and validation.
o Familiarity with Agile methodologies. Story creations is a must.
o Familiarity in ETL, ETL process design for automation would be helpful. More of data generalist playing across data design/modelling, BI and ETL process automation. - Familiarity with Dataiku for advanced data preparation and analytics.
- Experience building executive dashboards for HR or Talent Acquisition, including multi-screen views for leadership reporting.
- Strong understanding of HR data structures and terminology to align dashboards with organizational goals.
- Certifications such as Tableau Desktop Specialist, Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst, or equivalent.
- Exposure to test script creation and UAT cycles for BI solutions.
