Dispatch Manager - Metal Recycling - Base Salary to 90k/year - Westport, MA

• Our Client is seeking a Dispatch Manager to join their team. The Dispatch Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Dispatch & logistics for the Recycling Yard in Westport, MA. The Dispatch Manager will be responsible for driver supervision, route planning, and inbound/outbound shipments. The Dispatch Manager will play a key role in optimizing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise a team of dispatchers, drivers, and contractors ensuring they adhere to company policies and safety regulations
• Ensure Shipments are sent & received on time
• Monitor and analyze transportation data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
• Conduct regular performance evaluations of drivers and provide feedback for improvement
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations
• Lead all communications with top account & implement new accounts to ensure smooth, prompt service

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Dispatch & Traffic management, preferably in a Heavy Industrial capacity
• Strong knowledge of DOT state & federal regulations and safety & transportation compliance requirements
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills

Compensation:

• Base salary up to 90k/year
