Job Description

St. Louis Parking Company is looking for a full-time Enforcement Officer. This role will monitor parking lots where violations are issued to ensure all parkers are paying the multi space parking meters or honor boxes. Assist when needed to cover call offs by working as a Swing Attendant at the location where a call off has occurred. To deliver the company’s standards of customer service with each parker interacting with the parking meters. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Audit all Lots in which parkers utilize a multi-space meter, mobile applications, or honor box for payment as scheduled by the Director of Audit.
  • Issue Violations to parkers who are not valid parkers in Opsman Mobile app, are not monthly parkers, and/or who have not paid the Honor Box.
  • Complete a Violation Audit form and submit via Google forms after every audit.
  • Alert Director of Audit if a vehicle is issued a violation with 5 or more outstanding violations or owes $500 or more in violation fines by emailing the manager and copying the Night Managers and call center manager.
  • Audit Goal: Audit all lots daily with multi-space meters, mobile application or Honor Boxes; twice if time permits
  • Review any issues with equipment or parkers with the Director of Audit.
  • Assist event team with lot audits as directed by Event Manager or Director of Audit.
  • Assist customers with payment methods on the parking lots. 

Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • May be asked by management to complete small cleaning or maintenance tasks according to the company’s maintenance standards.
  • Other special projects as assigned by management.

Minimum Job Qualifications

  • High School or equivalent degree required.
  • One year related experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend verbal instructions and written correspondence.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and through written correspondence.
  • Have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • Must have adequate transportation while on patrol.
  • Ability to safely drive a standard or automatic transmission vehicle.
  • Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when working with other employees and the parking customer.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations
  • Ability to provide customer resolution in a professional and friendly manner. 

Q ualifications Desired

  • Previous customer service experience

Physical Demands:

As part of performing the duties associated with this position, the employee will be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands-to-fingers, handle tools or controls, reach with hands or arms, talk and hear. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 50 lbs.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this position, the employee may be subjected to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in this work environment can range from minimal to moderate.
