Job Title: ETL QA Engineer with SQL Expertise

Location: Plano, TX, and Charlotte, NC

Duration: Long-Term Contract

We are looking for an experienced ETL QA Engineer to ensure the accuracy and reliability of our data warehousing and ETL processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong data testing skills, proficiency in SQL, and the ability to identify and resolve data inconsistencies effectively.

• Develop and execute detailed test plans for ETL processes.
• Validate data quality and integrity across multiple sources and destinations.
• Write, maintain, and optimize complex SQL queries for data validation.
• Identify, document, and track data defects and inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with ETL developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand data flows and requirements.
• Perform root cause analysis for data issues and recommend solutions.
• Automate ETL testing using relevant tools and frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in ETL testing and quality assurance.
• Proficiency in SQL, including complex queries, joins, and data manipulation.
• Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or SSIS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and capability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP) is a plus.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
