Position Summary
The Executive Chef reports to the General Manager and works closely with the Director of Food & Beverage to lead all culinary operations at Western Racquet Club. This role oversees dining outlets, banquets, catering, and special events, ensuring consistent quality, efficiency, and financial performance.
The Executive Chef is responsible for menu development, food and pastry production, cost control, purchasing, budgeting, and the leadership, training, and development of all kitchen and dish room staff.

Key Responsibilities
· Lead all culinary operations with a focus on quality, consistency, and execution
· Develop and manage menus and pricing for dining venues, seasonal offerings, and events
· Oversee kitchen staffing, scheduling, training, and performance
· Maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance
· Manage food and labor costs, purchasing, inventory, and waste control
· Prepare and manage culinary budgets and financial performance
· Collaborate with food & beverage, events, and front-of-house leadership
· Support club-wide events, programming, and member engagement

Qualifications
· Culinary Arts degree or equivalent training preferred
· 3–6 years of progressive culinary leadership experience (private club, hotel, or upscale restaurant preferred)
· Strong culinary, operational, and cost-control skills
· Thorough knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
· Proven leadership and communication abilities
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
