Position Summary

The Experience Director provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for the Experience Department, ensuring exceptional worship and guest experiences for all attendees. This role leads multiple teams, oversees environments and events, and builds systems that turn first-time guests into engaged members of the church community.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy

• Lead and oversee the Experience Department, providing vision, direction, and development

• Execute the High-Five system to deliver high-quality worship experiences and special events

• Establish collaboration and interdependence across ministry teams

Team Development

• Recruit, onboard, train, and empower staff and volunteers

• Lead department meetings and foster strong team culture through meetings and outings

• Build and steward teams including Music, Production, Guest Services, Higher Kids, and Higher Youth

Experience & Events

• Oversee weekly worship services and special events aligned with the mission of Higher Dimension Church

• Coordinate Sunday experiences with ministry leads and staff

• Collaborate with Worship and Communications teams to influence weekend programming, staging, and special elements

• Provide leadership coverage for special events including funerals, conferences, outreach initiatives, and team nights

Operations & Stewardship

• Oversee departmental budgets, auditorium planning, and equipment purchases

• Develop and execute multiple events throughout the year

• Provide weekly and monthly data for leadership dashboards

• Create efficient, sustainable systems that support long-term ministry growth
