Job Description
WildBride is a bridal boutique for the unique, unconventional, and free-spirited bride in the heart of San Francisco. We are hiring fashion retail and digtial marketing/graphic design interns focused on retail operations, bridal styling and social media. They will work directly with the owner and founder of the business.
This is an UPAID internship. The intern will be learning valuable information about what it takes to work and run a small fashion business in all aspects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist owner with day-to-day retail operations and tasks, and special events
• Checking and receiving goods
• Photograph products in a creative way to use on social media channels
• Research and write a variety of blog posts and how to guidelines relevant to the businesses followers and wedding industry
• Create newsletters, email campaigns, and online promotions
• Assist with website updates and revisions
• Day-to-day social media management (including community management)
• Caption copywriting, content creation
• Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
REQUIREMENTS
• Strong passion for fashion retail and merchandising/marketing
• Good eye for styling and social media photography and posting
• Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest, TikTok
• Proficient writing communication skills
• Self-motivated, punctual, fast learner and excited/eager to learn
• Computer savvy - must have own computer to work from
• Preferred but not required to be student within a fashion designe/business, fashion merchandising, or marketing major
• Excellent copywriting skills
• Familiarity with web design
• Analytical and multitasking skills
*Work Timeline: 3-6 months (can be extended), two to three days a week from home and in store
