Position Summary
Fisher’s Technology is seeking a qualified individual to fill our Field Service Technician position. This team member will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment in the field and providing excellent customer service. Other responsibilities include providing effective sales support and maintaining timely and accurate communication between the customer, Fisher’s Contact Center and the Service Department.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide maintenance and repairs for Fisher’s office equipment (copiers, printers, etc.), either on-site at customer locations or at the Fisher’s location.

  • Offer exceptional product and service support for Fisher’s Technology customers as indicated by First Call Efficiency percentage.

  • Support the Sales Team by providing communication about customer accounts and engaging with the Tip Lead program.

  • Using parts and time efficiently and manage car-parts inventory to meet department standards set by Service Manager.

  • Maintain all assigned Fisher’s Technology equipment, vehicles, tools, and/or property in acceptable condition as verified by Field Service Supervisor.

  • Accurately and efficiently complete paperwork and/or data-entry as required for the customer information database, e-Automate and other Remote Tech systems.

  • Maintain a professional appearance, manner, and a level of customer satisfaction in alignment with department standards.

  • Encourage customer feedback and survey participation upon service completion.

  • Assist on special installs, setups, or other projects as assigned by Service Management.

  • Report all situations regarding technical and/or customer related problems directly to Service Management.

  • Successfully complete all required and/or voluntary training as outlined in career development objectives set by management team and personal goals.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years’ experience in customer service, preferred but not required.

  • Clean Driving Record.

  • Ability to efficiently provide professional customer service to internal and external customers.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively and professionally with a team.

  • Proven technical and analytical problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to lift 25 lbs. frequently, 50 lbs. occasionally and 50+ lbs. (with assistance).
