The Boeing Company is currently seeking a **Fire Inspector** to join the team in **Berkeley, MO** ; **Saint Charles, MO** or **Mascoutah, IL** . The Boeing Fire Department is the world's largest Industrial fire department. Boeing firefighters provide a safe working environment and are ready to respond to emergencies and disasters at our Boeing sites. The Boeing St. Louis Region has a diverse footprint with fire services supporting three sites. The St. Charles weapons Facility, St. Louis main manufacturing facility hosting F-15, F-18, T-7A, Phantom Works, and 777X, and Mascoutah, IL., supporting the MQ-25 program. Find your future with us. **Position Responsibilities:** + Responds to and completes unique or extraordinary service requests + Authorizes variances to established procedures + Audits crew or shift compliance with requirements and reports results to management + Inspects and tests various special and unique emergency and fixed fire protection equipment, systems and apparatus to ensure operational readiness and to comply with applicable codes, standards and company procedures and completes appropriate documentation + Conducts on the job training for all Fire Protection Specialists in the inspection of various routine, emergency and fixed fire protection equipment, systems and apparatus + Works with other organizations (internal and external) to establish inspection and test procedures + Responds to emergencies and calls for assistance to mitigate hazardous situations + Completes appropriate notification and documentation + Develops incident response protocols and guidelines + Conducts training in advanced skills of the Fire Protection Specialist (using established lesson plans) + Researches, designs and schedules training and curriculum to meet regulatory standards and contractual requirements + Conducts training for external customers in emergency preparedness and safety skills to meet regulatory requirements and satisfy customer requests (using established lesson plans) + Completes appropriate documentation + Researches, designs and schedules and training and curriculum to meet regulatory standards and contractual requirements + Directs and trains less experienced Fire Protection Specialists in use of established protocols, system monitoring and processing requests for fire department services and dispatching appropriate resources **Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):** + 3+ years of experience in Emergency Services + 3+ years of experience with the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Project + 3+ years of experience building relationships and partnering with all levels of employees, including executives + 3+ years of experience applying risk management and mitigation principles + 1+ years of experience multi-tasking and working in a team environment + Experience with Security & Fire Protection (S&FP) + Current National Registry or Missouri State Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification **Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):** + Current International Code Council (ICC), International Fire Services Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) and/or United States recognized Fire Inspector 1 certification **Drug Free Workplace:** Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies. **Pay & Benefits:** At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
