Job Description

We are looking for a Business Transformation Solutions Engineer (BTSE) with Enterprise Networking, Data Center, Collaboration, Security, Automation, and Cloud background. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in co-creating end-to-end solutions that address complex business challenges while aligning with our client's strategic goals. As a Business Solutions Engineer, you will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to drive innovation and deliver value through technology. You will partner with your Account Managers in a pre-sales function, showcasing Cisco solutions, providing customer presentations. BTSE’s partner, consult, influence and design solutions to allow the customer to meet their desired outcomes. In addition to technology aptitude and the ability to learn quickly and stay current; the ideal candidate's interpersonal, presentation and troubleshooting skills should evoke passion and confidence.

In addition to the above, the BTSE will perform the following functions:

• Collaborate with business leaders to understand strategic objectives and translate them into actionable technology solutions.

• Design and architect comprehensive solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing systems and infrastructure.

• Lead cross-functional teams to ensure our clients realize the value of solutions, from concept to deployment.

• Serve as a technical expert and advisor for both internal stakeholders and external clients, providing guidance on best practices and industry trends.

• Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and vendors to ensure that solutions are scalable, secure, and cost-effective.

• Advocate for an inclusive approach to solution development, ensuring that diverse perspectives are considered, and solutions requirements are met.

• Facilitate workshops and training sessions to promote knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team.

• Contribute to the development of architectural standards, frameworks, and governance.

• Collaborate closely with Account Manager on account planning activities.

• Educate the customer on Cisco differentiation, creating demand.

• Align Cisco’s product and services capabilities to customers business drivers.

• Minimum ten years of experience in the pre-sales engineering industry with a focus on Cisco's Enterprise Routing & Switching, Data Center and Security solutions.

• In-depth knowledge of large IT environments and applications.

• Deep understanding and operational experience with a routed and switched data/voice network.

• Strong business acumen and customer presence.

• Experience and comfort conversing with network and telecommunications managers as well as customer lines of business on Data Center, Security, and Retail solutions.

• The focus of this position is to uncover business benefits for a customer by consulting on Cisco solutions and applications to solve business problems, working with cross-functional teams to design and present appropriate technical solution, and building joint plan of record for multiple engineering systems using Cisco solutions.

• You'll plan sales strategy, develop proposals, deliver customer presentations and demonstrations to close business and generate revenue.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 10+ years of computing industry related experience.

• Cisco product experience or relevant experience in key competitor offerings in technology area of emphasis required.

• Minimum CCNP, CCDP, VCP or similar vendor certification required.

• Knowledge of Cisco's Solutions, networking fundamentals required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field experience.

• Proven experience as a Business Solutions Architect or in a similar role within a complex enterprise environment.

• Strong understanding of business processes and experience with enterprise architecture frameworks.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in managing cross-functional teams.

• Deep knowledge of Cisco products and solutions is highly desirable.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and adapt to changing priorities.
