Job Title: Associate, Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE)
Location: Cranbury, NJ
Employment: Contract, 1 year, potential for direct hire
Hours: M–F, 8-4 (some flexibility start / stop); Onsite
Pay: $36–$40/hr
Role Overview:
Seeking an Associate in Health, Safety, and Environmental to support manufacturing operations by implementing policies, conducting audits, ensuring compliance, and promoting a strong safety culture.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s in Health, Safety, and Environmental, Industrial/Environmental Engineering, Safety, or related field
0–5 years of Health, Safety, and Environmental experience, experiences such as co-op, internship, or professional work experience; experience in manufacturing environment ideal.
Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental principles, risk assessment, GMP, OSHA or COMAH
Strong communication, training, and MS Office skills
Responsibilities:
Implement and maintain Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures
Conduct inspections, audits, and incident investigations
Support training, risk analysis, and regulatory compliance
Track and analyze Health, Safety, and Environmental data for continuous improvement
Recommend program improvements
Preferred Experience:
Pharmaceutical, chemical manufacturing, food industry, flavor fragrance, oil / gas, speciality chemicals or similar fields.
Experience with GMP and regulated Health, Safety, and Environmental standards
Driving safety culture and sustainability initiatives
