ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS: The primary or essential functions of the position include the following: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Accurately mixes and dries (if necessary) material for upcoming production runsMixes material colorant and/or re-pelletized materialFills dryers with proper material per schedule requirementsCollects runners, regrinds, and purges from the production floorDetermines material changes from the schedule and accommodates schedule updates and changesChanges materials per the production schedule at the pressProperly cleans loaders, dryers, grinders, material lines, and hoppersAccurately weighs, labels, and scans materials to the proper warehouse location after production runsPrint material labelsProperly and safely operates the pelletizerAssists Quality Department personnel in preparing packaging for production partsSafely performs duties related to forklift operation and scissor lift operationRoutinely cleans and organizes all material-related work areas and the warehouse MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS: High school diploma or equivalent preferredClearly and effectively communicates in English (verbal and written)Communicates effectively with teammatesWorks well independently (self-motivated), as well as in a team environmentMaintains a positive attitude and strong individual work ethicPossesses a strong attention to detailIs very conscientious of material inventoryIs capable of multitaskingConsistently meets deadlinesPossesses basic math skillsDisplays proficiency in the safe operation of forkliftsRegards, safety as a priorityPossesses a commitment to housekeeping and maintaining a very clean work environmentIs willing to work on any of the three shifts, as required (including overtime coverage) WORK ENVIRONMENT: Climate-controlled manufacturing/production work environmentISO 9001 controlled quality and production processesISO 7 (Class 10,000) Cleanroom environment (additional training required)The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
