Job Description

Salary: $103,000 - 103,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree with 5 - 8 years of IT engineering experience (or equivalent experience)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance

• Work closely with the Section Manager and Team Lead to ensure network availability and uphold security and confidentiality
• Engage in communication, investigation, triage, monitoring, and resolution of security incidents, events, alerts, and concerns following established procedures in conjunction with NS Operations
• Participate in refining alert thresholds and contribute to ongoing enhancements of the Security Section to improve customer satisfaction
• Team up with Security Subject Matter Experts on best practices
• Support mid-level and junior network security engineers with tasks as required
• Provide mentorship to mid-level and junior network security engineers
