Oversees daily clinical, clerical & administrative Occupational Health Services (OHS) functions while ensuring institutional & departmental compliance with applicable professional, regulatory & governmental standards. Demonstrates clinical nursing expertise and professional competency through the planning, implementation and management of programs that support the health, safety and well-being of clients. Actively participates in the attainment of Organization's strategic plan, goals and objectives. Responsibilities: + Oversees daily clinical, clerical & administrative Occupational Health Services (OHS) functions while ensuring institutional & departmental compliance with applicable professional, regulatory & governmental standards. + Consistently and effectively coordinates the daily operations of occupational health programs & services - clinical, clerical and administrative functions - for area of responsibility/operating unit. + Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to foster the provision of effective health, safety and environmental services - anticipates changes and recommends and implements new policies and work improvement initiatives as indicated. + Demonstrates an ethical decision making framework in all activities. Through personal and professional relationships, promotes OHS mission and values and fosters community integration. + Ensures development and maintenance of confidential health records 100% of the time.
