Lowe Orthodontics/Image Orthodontics in Fresno, CA is a leading orthodontic practice committed to providing high-quality dental care in a warm and friendly environment. Our team of dedicated professionals is passionate about oral health and patient satisfaction. We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented  Orthodontic Assistant (RDA/OA)to join our practice.

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Orthodontic Assistant (OA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) 
• Previous experience in an orthodontic practice required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of dental and orthodontic terminology and procedures.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Proficient in utilizing dental software and technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the orthodontist during various procedures
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control standards.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and care for orthodontic appliances.
• Manage patient records, including taking and documenting medical histories and treatment records.
• Ensure that the treatment area is clean, organized, and properly stocked with necessary supplies.
• Schedule patient appointments and coordinate with the front office staff.
• Handle patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while working with patients, families, and team members.
