Position : Part time Summer Camp Coding Instructor | Part-Time Up to 20 hours/week | Weekdays

Kids have a blast and cannot wait to come back. What are we looking for?

Under the direction of the Center Director, the Summer Camp Coding Instructor will use our summer camp curriculum to lead multiple camps throughout the course of the summer. They will supervise, monitor, and participate (when needed) in all activities directly related to summer camp activities.

The Summer Camp Coding Instructor will also be expected to:

• Welcome families and campers at arrival
• Be knowledgeable of all camps and their activities, and be prepared to lead activities everyday in their respective camp(s).
• Assist in supervising drop off’s and pick up’s for each camper
• Guide individual campers in participating in all camp activities
• Set a good example for counselors/campers and others including cleanliness, punctuality, and sharing clean-up responsibilities.
• Other reasonable duties may be assigned as required by the Camp Director(s)

Qualifications or Skills:

· Must be 16 years of age or older

· Desire and ability to work with children

· Ability to accept supervision and guidance

· Ability to lead and teach activities to a group of campers (up to15 children)

· Good integrity, character, attitude and adaptability

· Enthusiasm, sense of humor patience and self-control

· CPR/First Aid Certification highly preferred

· Must be available for camp training Tues day, May 28th - Friday, June 4th .

• Camps will run Monday to Friday, from June 9th to August 18th, 9:45 AM to 2 PM.
