Position: Pega Developer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Pega Developer to join our team. As a Pega Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Pega-based applications to automate business processes and workflows. You will collaborate closely with business analysts, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure that applications meet both technical and functional requirements. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Pega's BPM (Business Process Management) platform and experience with application design, development, testing, and deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement Pega-based applications, including workflows, user interfaces, and integrations with other systems.
Customize Pega frameworks, including Pega Customer Service, Pega Marketing, Pega Sales Automation, and others, according to business requirements.
Write and maintain Pega code and decision rules, ensuring they are optimized for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Participate in requirements gathering and collaborate with business analysts to translate functional requirements into technical designs.
Implement Pega UI components, including portals, sections, and layouts, using Pega's out-of-the-box capabilities.
Integrate Pega applications with external systems using connectors, services, and REST/SOAP APIs.
Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of applications to ensure the highest quality standards.
Ensure adherence to Pega best practices and development standards.
Develop and maintain Pega deployment pipelines and automate build and release processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA engineers and business users, to validate and deploy the application.
Assist in the troubleshooting of Pega applications in production environments, resolving performance issues and defects.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior Pega developers.
Stay up to date with the latest Pega platform updates, tools, and industry best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven 9+ Years of experience as a Pega Developer with a solid understanding of Pega PRPC (Pega Rules Process Commander) and BPM concepts.
Experience with Pega 7.x or higher, including the development of Pega applications using rules, activities, flows, and data pages.
Strong knowledge of Pega BPM framework, integration methods, and design patterns.
Hands-on experience with Pega's UI components, including sections, harnesses, and controls.
Proficient in Java, SQL, and HTML/CSS for Pega development.
Experience with web services (SOAP/REST), API integrations, and working with Pega's Integration Designer.
Familiarity with Pega's Decisioning capabilities, including Decision Tables, Decision Trees, and Predictive Models.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills:
Pega Certified System Architect (CSA) or Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA).
Experience with Pega Cloud or Pega on Cloud platforms.
Knowledge of Pega Customer Service, Pega Marketing, or Pega Sales Automation frameworks.
Familiarity with databases like Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.
Experience in performance tuning and optimization of Pega applications.
