Job Title: PEGA Developer
Location: Miami, FL
Duration: Long Term
We are seeking a qualified Pega Developer to design, develop, and deliver software solutions using the Pega PRPC platform.
The responsibilities of the Pega Developer include analyzing business requirements, designing Pega PRPC solutions, coding and configuring applications and systems, and testing software applications.
Our ideal candidates should have solid experience with Pega development, be familiar with the Pega Systems technologies, and have a good understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
Ultimately, the role of the Pega Developer is to deliver high-quality, innovative, and fully functioning Pega-based software solutions that meet our business needs.
Responsibilities
Analyze business process and system needs, and translate them into Pega PRPC solutions
Design and build Pega applications and workflows
Configure Pega PRPC systems as per client requirements
Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC) in a Pega context
Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
Document and maintain Pega software functionality
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing Pega systems
Deploy Pega applications and evaluate user feedback
Ensure software is updated with latest Pega features
Comply with project plans and industry standards
Qualifications
Proven work experience as a Pega Developer
Strong understanding of Pega PRPC concepts and design principles
Ability to develop Pega applications and functionalities
Excellent knowledge of Pega Rules Process Commander, models, and flows
Experience developing web applications using Pega PRPC
Experience with test-driven development
Proficiency in software engineering tools
Ability to document requirements and specifications
Pega Certified System Architect (PCSA) or Pega Certified Senior System Architect (PCSSA) certification is a plus
BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field.
