The PeopleSoft Functional/Technical Consultant will be responsible for the implementation, integration, and support of PeopleSoft HCM modules, with a primary focus on Absence Management and Payroll. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders, designing solutions, providing technical support, and ensuring alignment with business needs.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead the implementation and integration of PeopleSoft 9.2 Absence Management with existing Payroll systems.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into effective PeopleSoft solutions.
- Design, develop, and support PeopleSoft HCM module solutions, with a focus on HR, Payroll, and Absence Management.
- Analyze and propose functional and technical enhancements for continuous PeopleSoft system improvement.
- Configure PeopleSoft modules and identify necessary customizations based on end-user requirements.
- Provide technical support throughout the design, development, testing, and deployment phases.
- Implement change requests according to established change management procedures.
- Review and recommend improvements to current PeopleSoft business processes.
- Work closely with Project Manager to develop project plans and determine resource requirements.
- Maintain accurate project technical documentation for management review.
- Provide production support, resolve problem tickets, and ensure timely issue resolution for PeopleSoft applications.
- Conduct training sessions and offer ongoing support to business users.
- Ensure technical solutions align with business needs and overall system architecture.
- Document, track, and assist in resolving defects identified during testing.
- Create detailed functional documentation for changes and issue reporting.
- Leverage strong analytical, problem-solving, and SQL scripting skills to support technical and business objectives.
- Prioritize and assist in defect resolution based on business requirements and customer needs.
