What You’ll Be Doing

  • Sourcing and Diligence: Proactively identify and evaluate acquisition targets, conduct due diligence, build financial models, and assess operational fit and cultural alignment with our mission.
  • Deal Execution: Support all aspects of the deal process including negotiations, legal documentation, and close coordination with sellers and advisors.
  • Post-Acquisition Involvement: Work directly with management teams at our portfolio companies to support strategy, operations, and growth initiatives.
  • Legacy Preservation: Partner with business owners to ensure a smooth transition that honors their legacy—no layoffs, no relocations, and no corporate bureaucracy.
  • Cross-Functional Support: Collaborate with team members on everything from process improvement to team development to long-term strategic planning.
  • Travel as Needed: Visit portfolio companies regularly to build relationships, understand operations, and help lead value creation from the ground up.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience: 2–5 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, consulting, or operations. Prior exposure to lower-middle-market deals or industrial sectors is highly valued.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, due diligence, and deal execution. Familiarity with operational metrics, KPIs, and growth strategy.
