Job Title: Travel Refrigeration Mechanic

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Travel Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation and repair of refrigeration systems across various job sites. This is a travel position requiring on-site work on jobsites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation: Install refrigeration systems, including mini splits, VRF systems, compressors, condensers, evaporators, and other related components.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks and services to ensure optimal system performance and longevity.
• Repair: Diagnose and repair refrigeration system issues, including electrical and mechanical faults, to minimize downtime and operational disruption.
• Troubleshooting: Utilize technical expertise to identify and resolve complex refrigeration problems, ensuring systems are running efficiently.
• Compliance: Adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements, including EPA guidelines and OSHA regulations.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of work performed if requested, including service reports and equipment logs.
• Customer Interaction: Provide exceptional customer service, effectively communicating with clients about their refrigeration needs and system performance.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Refrigeration Mechanic, with extensive knowledge of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems.
• Certification: EPA Universal Certification is a plus.
• Skills: Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Travel: Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight stays, to various job sites across the region.
