The Registered Nurse provides skilled nursing care in a Medical Surgical setting, working 12-hour shifts on weekends (Saturday, Sunday, and Monday). The role involves floating within scope to meet department needs, and requires at least two years of experience. The RN will administer medications, assess patients, and collaborate with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities:
- Patient assessments and monitoring in a Medical Surgical setting.
- Medication administration and management.
- Blood product administration.
- Peripheral line care and management.
- PICC line management.
- Collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Maintaining isolation precautions.
- Floating within scope to meet facility needs.
- Accurate and timely charting using Cerner.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of working or in the application process with ETA to apply.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting.
- BLS certification.
- IV therapy and phlebotomy skills/experience.
- Blood Product Administration, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management.
- Knowledge of Isolation Precautions.

Special Considerations:
- Weekend only shifts (Saturday, Sunday, Monday).
- Will work every other weekend.
- Will float as needed per department needs.
- No on-call requirement.
- Acute Care Hospital - Level I trauma center. Magnet hospital/facility.
- Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen week assignment without paying for the cancelled hours. If Client cancels more hours than permitted by this section, Client will be billed for any shifts or portions thereof cancelled in excess of this section. If Candidates are placed on-call in lieu of being called off, that will count as a called-off shift.
Scheduling:
- 3x12-hour shifts (0645-1915).
- Block schedules accepted.
- Every other weekend required.
