We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing specialized care to patients with breathing difficulties and cardiopulmonary disorders. This role involves assessing, treating, and monitoring patients with respiratory conditions, ensuring high-quality and patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess, evaluate, and treat patients with respiratory conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, and pneumonia.
Administer respiratory therapy treatments, such as oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy.
Perform diagnostic procedures, including pulmonary function tests (PFTs), arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis, and pulse oximetry.
Set up, operate, and monitor mechanical ventilators for patients requiring life support.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Educate patients and families on proper use of respiratory equipment, inhalers, and techniques to improve lung health.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient assessments, treatments, and progress in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
Adhere to safety protocols, infection control standards, and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications:

Associates degree in Respiratory Therapy; Bachelors degree preferred.
Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
Valid state license as a Respiratory Therapist (as applicable).
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting, with critical care experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of respiratory care techniques, equipment, and therapies.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient care skills.
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation.
