Security Office r position requires the candidate be able to provide a full range of Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) support services to the GDIT Intelligence & Homeland Security Division's (I&HSD) Program portfolio as required. Position incumbent is expected to maintain strict compliance with GDIT and IC Customer security and counterintelligence requirements designed to protect Program personnel, information, and facilities from compromise.
This position is responsible for providing robust Program, Personnel, Physical, Technical, Information, Communications, Operations, and Cyber Security services as required to GDIT Program personnel operating in GDIT facilities and at IC government sites. The CPSO provides matrixed functional security support to current and prospective contract efforts in concert with I&HSD leadership and teammates, GDIT Cyber and Physical/Technical Security subject matter experts as necessary, and is expected to be able to learn and conduct all of following essential tasks:
How a SECURITY OFFICER will make an impact: - Protect classified government information, monitor security procedures, ensuring compliance with all aspects of the program including personnel, physical and administrative security systems and procedures.
- Make and program employee badges for site access.
- Conduct security briefings and conduct security education programs briefings.
- Investigate security incidents and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain classified storage and audits of documents.
- Maintain security oversight for closed areas.
- Maintain files for customers and audits.
- Conduct required Security Program and facility self-inspections and support IC customer inspections.
- Interface directly with program management to address security items specific to each program/contract.
- Provide briefings through public speaking, facilitated trainings, and written guidance.
- Process and protect personally identifiable information (PII), Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and other sensitive, personal information with regards to reporting responsibilities in a professional manner.
- Effectively apply physical and procedural security measures with minimal impact to business operations.
- Maintain, audit and evaluate industrial security program to provide a safe and secure environment to protect employees and company assets.
- Represent the business unit when interacting with senior executives, site management, and government representatives on security and asset protection issues.
- Interpret and administer existing policies and develop, document, implement, and communicate revisions to existing policies or new policies, processes, and procedures
- Process all employee and select subcontractor security clearance actions
- Track security clearance investigations and perform administrative support functions using GDIT, Customer-unique and IC (Scattered Castles) Personnel Security systems.
- Other projects as assigned

*This position does require on-site work daily, but there is flexibility.** WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED :
- Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 2+ years relevant and related work experience; OR 6+ years relevant and related experience in lieu of the degree
- Active TS/SCI with CI Poly (Required)
- Practical Personnel Security and Physical Security experience
- Proficiency with office automation tools (Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Ability to collaborate with all levels of internal and external customers, managers, employees, and security personnel
- US Citizenship Required
WHAT WOULD BE GREAT TO HAVE, BUT NOT REQUIRED: - Formal training or certifications regarding IC policy governing Personnel, Physical, Technical, or other Security disciplines designed to protect Sensitive Compartmented Information

The likely salary range for this position is $63,750 - $86,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
