Job Description

Salary: $250,800 - 286,200 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in application development (internship experience not considered)
• At least 2 years of experience in big data technologies
• A minimum of 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
• Masters Degree (preferred)
• Over 9 years of experience in application development including proficiency in Python, SQL, Scala, or Java (preferred)
• More than 4 years of experience with a public cloud (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) (preferred)
• Over 5 years of experience with distributed data/computing tools (e.g., MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, Spark, Gurobi, or MySQL) (preferred)
• Minimum of 4 years of experience working on real-time data and streaming applications (preferred)
• At least 4 years of NoSQL implementation experience (Mongo, Cassandra) (preferred)
• A minimum of 4 years of data warehousing experience (Redshift or Snowflake) (preferred)
• Over 4 years of experience with UNIX/Linux, including basic commands and shell scripting (preferred)
• At least 2 years of experience with Agile engineering practices (preferred)

• Collaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions utilizing full-stack development tools and technologies
• Lead a team of developers who have substantial expertise in machine learning, distributed microservices, and full-stack systems
• Use programming languages such as Java, Scala, Python, and leverage Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, alongside cloud-based data warehousing services like Redshift and Snowflake
• Share enthusiasm for staying informed on tech trends, experimenting with new technologies, engaging in technology communities, and mentoring fellow engineers
• Work alongside digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that provide impactful experiences, empowering millions of Americans financially
• Conduct unit tests and collaborate with team members to ensure code is meticulously designed, elegantly executed, and optimized for performance
