About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A to support Confluent’s growing financial planning and analysis capabilities. This is a high-impact individual contributor role designed for someone who enjoys combining strong analytical skills with business partnership, modeling, and insights.

As we continue refining our financial planning structure, this position offers the opportunity to help shape how we plan, forecast, and operate—while working closely with finance and business leaders across the organization.

Responsibilities:

In Office position, Based in Louisville, KY

Starting Pay $90,000

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the annual planning, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models, KPI tracking, and scenario analyses to support strategic decisions.
  • Partner closely with business leaders to understand drivers, trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Prepare clear, concise reporting and presentations for senior leadership.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of data flowing through Axiom and other financial systems.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, streamline reporting, and enhance visibility into performance.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis to support resource allocation, investment decisions, and operational insights.
Qualifications:

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related analytics roles.
  • Strong modeling and analytical skills with the ability to translate data into insights.
  • Experience with Axiom or similar planning platforms strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to partner cross-functionally and communicate clearly across levels.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets required; exposure to visualization tools a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
