Job Description

Heartland Acoustics & Interiors is looking for a Dynamic Senior Project Manager!

Heartland Acoustics & Interiors is the leading subcontractor of suspended acoustical ceilings, specialty metal ceilings, wood ceilings, security ceilings, acoustical wall panels, acoustical sound treatments, stretch wall & ceiling systems, architectural panel systems, demountable partitions, acoustic pods, interior & exterior cladding, rainscreen systems, and perforated metal panels.

Having experienced growth and consistent client satisfaction for over twenty-five years, Heartland Acoustics & Interiors, headquartered in Colorado, has offices in Denver, San Diego, Austin, San Antonio, Seattle and Raleigh. The company is positioned to become the construction industry’s preferred ceiling and specialty contractor in their markets, and we are looking for a new Senior Project Manager to join our corporate, Colorado Branch.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Estimators to understand project scope and value.
  • Review new project awards to determine scope, quantities, and budget.
  • Identify and correct estimating errors to reconcile budgets.
  • Oversee Assistant Project Managers and Assistants during job setup.
  • Create, manage, and approve job-related purchase orders.
  • Oversee contracts, budgets, proposals, and other project activities.
  • Manage timing of activities to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Conduct jobsite visits to ensure safety and quality standards.
  • Prepare for and participate in backlog review meetings.
  • Assist Field Superintendents with scheduling and material tracking.
  • Attend client and industry events to build relationships.
  • Train and mentor project staff and support personnel.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years of project management experience in construction or a related field.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and interpret financial reports, legal documents, and blueprints.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Solid understanding of commercial construction terms and procedures.
  • Preferred: Experience in ceilings, drywall, flooring, or specialties.
  • Preferred: College degree in Construction Management or Engineering.
