Job Description

Location: Hybrid, will only go into office 1-2x every other week, 

*light travel required to other offices, ~1x every 2-3 months (AL,Michigan, Washington)*

Years of experience: 10-15 years in network engineering, focusing on large-scale projects

Must have: 

• proficiency in BGP, WAN, routing protocols, Palo Alto, Cisco, Meraki, SD-WAN
• working knowledge in Juniper
• Wants someone with experience on big projects,  wants them to have worked the full project life cycle, rather than only certain segments of it, they will need to speak to this in their interview

Nice to Have:   CCNA, CCNP certifications

Responsibilities:

• 80% Layer 3 & above, 20% layer 1&2
• Set up and maintain firewalls at remote and central offices.
• Monitor firewall logs for security threats and anomalies.
• Troubleshoot firewall-related issues affecting network performance.
• Deploy and configure new firewalls for remote offices.
• Guide remote teams through setup and troubleshooting steps.
• Integrate remote office firewalls into the main corporate network,
• Provide remote support to resolve connectivity issues.
• Troubleshoot WAN latency and performance problems using
• Identify and fix issues with physical network components
• Monitor network traffic for unusual behavior 
• Investigate and resolve any detected anomalies
