Job Description

Responsibilities
Perform welding tasks on various steel components using MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
Inspect and test welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in welding preferred.
Proven experience as a steel welder, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
Proficient in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, stick) and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Valid welding certification is a plus.
