Responsibilities

• Perform welding tasks on various steel components using MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
• Inspect and test welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in welding preferred.
• Proven experience as a steel welder, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficient in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, stick) and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Valid welding certification is a plus.
