Position: Structural Engineering Project Manager
Location: San Diego, CA

Description

• Client is an internationally recognized, award-winning structural engineering firm, with multiple offices in Southern California.
• We are currently seeking a Project Manager.
• Applicant would lead all aspects of the development of projects, serving our clients and working directly with the Principals in a dynamic office environment.
• Must be a good communicator and team player, with strong technical skills as well as training and business development acumen.
• Significant opportunity for growth in an expanding firm and opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects including large, complex structures with a dedicated team of engineers.

Requirements

• 12 to 15+ years of building design experience, demonstrating strong leadership capabilities
• Strong business development skills desired
• Must have experience in a wide variety of structural materials and building types, with emphasis on larger steel and concrete structures in multiple market sectors
• SE license required
• Experience with DSA & OSHPD a plus
• Experience with seismic evaluation and retrofit of existing buildings using ASCE 41 a plus
• Master's degree from a US university in structural engineering required
• Strong communication and people skills, and team players required
