Amentum is seeking an experienced Taxi Driver at our location in Springfield, VA location.

Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess an active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.

Purpose and Scope:

Primary duties include transporting Defense Intelligence Senior Executive Service (DISES) and Defense Intelligence Senior Leaders (DISL), dignitaries and others to and from government facilities, meetings and special events while performing the following essential duties. Reads and understands specific vehicle operating manual and is able to operate every device in the car. Performs and documents route surveys, identifying safe havens and emergency resources, "choke points", "danger zones", and "zones of total predictability". Additional duties include visually inspecting and manually tests vehicle pre-departure and before accepting passengers. During irregular hours in daylight and nighttime hours; stays overnight on extended trips. Interacts effectively with company and government personnel on issues such as schedule, routes, security and executive protection. It is anticipated that approximately 20% of this service will occur outside of normal Government business hours

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Learns and practices surveillance detection and pre-attack recognition and avoidance skills.

2. Greets passengers and assists them in entering and leaving the vehicle.

3. May assist with baggage handling and with umbrella in foul weather.

4. Maintains automobile in clean, polished, flawless operating condition.

5. Reads and understands roadmaps; employs available Global Positioning Satellite navigational devices.

Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

A minimum of 4 years of experience in Executive Driving experience Maintains and operates communications devices, emergency response and contingency equipment, including fire extinguisher, flares or reflectors, chains, shovel, blankets, survival supplies, defensive and diversionary devices.
