Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Technical Recruiter to join our team, specializing in placing full-time employees with our clients across the United States. This is a commission-only role, offering 60% of the placement fee plus the potential for a yearly bonus. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building relationships with candidates nationwide, from NYC to LA and Seattle to Miami, and excel in sourcing top-tier talent for VC-backed tech startups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source, screen, and place high-caliber technical talent for full-time roles at VC-backed tech startups.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates across the United States to create a robust talent pipeline.

  • Utilize advanced sourcing techniques, including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals, to identify and attract top technical talent.

  • Conduct thorough candidate interviews to assess technical skills, cultural fit, and career aspirations.

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their hiring needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions.

  • Achieve 3 or more successful placements per month, consistently meeting or exceeding performance targets.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and startup ecosystems to effectively engage with candidates and clients.

  • Maintain accurate candidate and placement records in our CRM system.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Technical Recruiter, with a focus on VC-backed tech startups or similar high-growth environments.

  • Exceptional sourcing skills, with a demonstrated ability to identify and attract niche technical talent such as AI, ML, Agentic AI, LLM, Data Engineering, Data Scientist, Full Stack, Backed and Founding Engineers. 

  • Track record of making 3 or more placements per month in technical roles.

  • Strong relationship-building skills, with experience engaging candidates across diverse U.S. markets (e.g., NYC, LA, Seattle, Miami).

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively manage candidate and client expectations.

  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a commission-only structure (60% of placement fee, plus potential yearly bonus).

  • Proficiency with recruitment tools, ATS platforms, and social media sourcing (e.g., LinkedIn, GitHub).

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required with relevant experience.
