Join us to make positive change by helping build a better world where every person is free to move and pursue their dreams. **In this position...** As a UX Researcher for Ford Digital Product Design, you will be responsible for conducting a wide range of research activities to ensure Ford is delivering the highest quality user experience. Ideally, you have experience with mixed methods, demonstrating a knack for gathering both quantitative and qualitative data and surfacing compelling and actionable insights. At minimum, you are a generalist researcher, familiar with a wide variety of UX research methodologies. You will be a part of a team that works cross-functionally with design, product and engineering stakeholders, helping them to make data-driven and customer-centric decisions. **What you'll do...** + Plan and lead end-to-end research activities to help the Digital Product design team deliver high quality experiences that satisfy and delight customers, using a range of research methodologies including (but not limited to)..... _foundational qualitative research (e.g. ethnographic, observational, interview and diary studies, competitive landscape research), survey design and quantitative analysis,_ _usability studies, heuristic evaluations, concept studies and iterative design testing, usability benchmarking_ , and more + Work closely with design and product partners to understand research goals and plan activities that meet learning objectives and deliver measurable impact. + Analyze research findings and report outcomes in the form of helpful, digestible insights to internal partners and stakeholders **What you'll have...** + Bachelor's Degree in User Experience, Human Computer Interaction, Industrial Design, Human Factors, or related degree. + 5+ years of experience as a User Researcher, UX Designer, Human Factors Researcher, Insights Analyst, or Strategist + 3 + years of experience with on-site/field research, e.g. in-person usability studies + 2 + years of experience conducting foundational, strategic research + 2+ years of experience with quantitative analysis + Availability to travel up to 15% of time. + Proficient in most online/remote user research tools, e.g. Dscout, Usertesting, UserZoom, Qualtrics (or similar survey platform) + Experience synthesizing quantitative and qualitative research findings into actionable insights **Even better you'll have...** + Master's Degree in User Experience, Human Computer Interaction, Industrial Design, Human Factors, or related degree. + 3+ years of experience with mixed methods research + 3 + years with research on hardware/software products (digital devices) + Experience with statistical analysis + Technical acumen for helping to set up and trouble-shoot functional prototypes + Experience in, or knowledge of the Agile process. + Proficient in using Jira + Proficient in using Figma + Proficient in using Protopie or other prototyping tools You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply!
