You will collaborate closely with product owners, business stakeholders, customers, and software development teams to gather requirements and translate them into intuitive designs that enhance user satisfaction and usability across platforms.

Rate Range: $40/hr. to $47/hr.  The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

UX-UI Product Designer II responsibilities include:

·       Collaborate with software roadmap planners to transform product visions into beautiful, elegant, and intuitive user experiences across both desktop and mobile platforms.

·       Ensure a consistent User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) not only within individual applications but also across interrelated applications, maintaining graphical elements, interaction models, and text/titles that align with user expectations based on platform differences (e.g., mobile: Android vs. iOS; desktop: touchscreen vs. keyboard + mouse).

·       Partner with product management, customers, and system analysts to gather requirements, articulate user needs, and translate those needs into innovative concepts and refined interface designs.

·       Understand and balance both the larger project goals and detailed design elements to ensure cohesive, goal-driven work.

·       Work creatively within constraints such as technical limitations, tight timelines, and customer feedback to deliver effective design solutions.

·       Define interaction models, user task flows, and detailed UI specifications that guide development teams.

·       Design application user interfaces, including information architecture and interaction design tailored for both desktop and mobile environments.

·       Communicate design scenarios, end-to-end user experiences, interaction models, and screen designs clearly to stakeholders at all levels.

·       Evaluate existing user experiences and identify opportunities for enhancement and optimization.

·       Participate in user testing sessions and conduct customer interviews to gather relevant feedback and insights.

·       Attend collaborative meetings and workshops bridging management, development teams, and external partners to ensure alignment and shared understanding.

·       Meet with business clients and developers to collect requirements and verify design feasibility and technical implementation.

·       Research cutting-edge UI design and development techniques to discover innovative and elegant solutions for complex interface challenges.

·       Mentor and guide other UX and graphic designers or contractors as appropriate to project needs to maintain design consistency and coherence across products.

·       Produce comprehensive design documentation to effectively communicate design rationale to clients and development teams.

·       Create UI resources such as user flows, wireframes, style guides, visual assets, audio/video elements, and supportive help documentation.

·       Test application UIs to ensure accurate implementation, identify and document bugs or discrepancies, and enter detailed bug reports into DevOps or the designated issue-tracking system for resolution.

·       Engage in software evaluation through data analytics by formulating insightful questions related to user behavior for monitoring and reporting.

·       Work as an integral member of Agile software development Product/Feature teams, actively participating in daily SCRUM meetings, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospective sessions.

Desired Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field is required.

·       Minimum Five years related experience.

·       Working knowledge of standard UX design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Axure, or similar platforms.

·       Experience with Digital Design.

·       Solid understanding of interaction design, wireframing, user flows, and information architecture

·       Experience working in an Ecommerce environment.

·       Experience in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator

·       Experience with mobile platforms including iOS, Android, and Windows.
