Job Description:
About the Role :
The Warehouse Supervisor role at the Forest Park location is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily warehousing activities as well as impleme nting production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards and achiev ing the appropriate level of volume within time limits. This position is responsible for directing and leading a team of hourly team members and f oster ing and promot ing a continuous improvement and a positive work environment. Other responsibilities include:
Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying , dispatching, and assuring quality of goods
Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee’s performance
Organize and maintain inventory and storage area
Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy
Communicate job expectations and coach employees
Determine staffing levels and assign workload
Interface with customers to answer questions or solve problems
Maintain items record, document necessary information, and utilize reports to project warehouse status
Confer and coordinate activities with other departments
Recognize and communicate all food safety and quality issues immediately
Important D etails : T his is a full - time permanent role with responsibilities across multiple shifts which operate Monday – Friday with occasional overtime on Saturday and/or Sunday.
About You :

Bachelor’s Degree or comparable experience is required
Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to recognize and support skills development of employees in the department.
SAP preferred .
Proficient use of computer programs and software .
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously . Ability to handle multiple competing demands.
Ability to work a flexible schedule.
Excellent leadership qualities, verbal and written communication skills, technical analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills are required
