Warehouse Supervisor - Manufacturing - Base Salary to 70k/year - Hughesville, PA

• Our client is a well-established Building Products manufacturer with over 70 years of industry experience. They are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to lead and coach a small team of 8-10 employees in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• This is a 2nd shift role (2:30pm - 11:00pm), focusing on warehouse receiving, material handling, and cross-training employees.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and direct a team in the warehouse, overseeing production and material handling operations.
• Manage the scheduling of jobs, cross-training, and performance evaluations for employees.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, company policies, and production goals while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Facilitate the efficient use of equipment, troubleshoot machinery issues, and coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams to resolve production challenges.
• Oversee the flow of materials between warehouse and production areas, ensuring smooth operations across both divisions.
• Occasionally assist with operations at nearby facilities, as needed (Muncy facility, about 5-6 miles away).
• Collaborate with supply chain management to streamline material movement and ensure timely completion of customer orders.
• Actively engage in coaching and developing your team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Business, Production Management, or similar, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of warehousing experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Proven skills in employee coaching, cross-training, and performance management.
• Strong communication and time management abilities, with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments preferred, and familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
• Must be comfortable with unique equipment challenges, including operating and managing side loaders for large material handling.

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 60k – 70k/year range.
