Job Description

The Worship Director is responsible to lead the congregation to a heart of worship and into the presence of God through biblically accurate, emotionally engaging and gospel-centered music/arts. The goal of our worship ministry is to produce passionate disciples of Jesus who worship Him with all their heart, mind, soul and strength. This individual will possess the character, spiritual depth and skillset to build and grow a thriving Worship Ministry.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Below are the required responsibilities and duties of the Worship Director position:

• Work towards the mission, vision and values of the church
• Oversee all aspects of the Sunday morning gathering and ensure it’s done with excellence
• Build team leaders and teams to run a healthy ministry
• Provide care and support for worship team members both musically and spiritually
• Recruit, train and develop new worship team members
• Develop effective systems and structures to support ministry operations
• Oversee Sunday gathering teams and storytelling
• Plan, organize and coordinate special seasonal church events (i.e. Christmas Eve, Worship Nights, All Ages Services, etc.)
• Manage and administer ministry budget
• Update worship ministry equipment or infrastructure as needed
• Attend all staff meetings and trainingsHelp oversee church assimilation and connection
