Salary: $45.00 USD Hourly - $57.00 USD Hourly
Description: Position: SAS Developer
Location: Hybrid in Hopkins, MN

Type: Contract

Top Responsibilities:

1. Design and Development: Support the design, development, testing, and deployment of data analytics programs and processes for various operational data stores using SAS and relational databases.
2. Data Collection and Aggregation: Collect, interpret, and aggregate data from traditional and non-traditional sources to support programs and applications for various data analytics purposes.
3. Data Tools Development: Understand data requirements and business needs to develop data tools such as dashboards and visualizations using SAS and PowerBI.
4. Business Intelligence and Analysis: Utilize business intelligence, data visualization, query, analytic, and statistical software to build solutions, perform analysis, and interpret data.
5. Problem Solving: Solve moderately complex problems and translate concepts into practice.
6. Ad Hoc Reporting: Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed.
7. Problem Recognition and Solutions: Recognize problems and make recommendations for solutions.
8. User Interaction and Issue Resolution: Interact with business users to analyze and resolve issues, which may include code and data analysis.
9. Independent Work: Work under minimal guidance and within tight deadlines to deliverables.

Must haves:

• SAS and SQL
• 50% Production support and 50 % development
• Need to be able to deal with large amounts of data, going into millions of rows
• Soft skills: Need to be able to speak to business users about their concerns

Nice to haves:

• Oracle, Snowflake, Python or Teradata
• Healthcare
